Using little known archival material, this exhibition tells the story of the factory workers, clerks, tailoresses, shop assistants and craftswomen and artisans who came to Newnham for a week or two in the summers between 1922 and 1950. This unique project gave working women a chance to access education and experience the social side of College life.
