ABOUT THE CONTRIBUTOR
Neelam Debata (NC 2003), Head of Science at CATS, Cambridge. After her time at Newnham, Neelam decided to join teaching after seeing her mother’s impact on her school and community as a headteacher. She began working as a subject specialist in an inner London school and later become a Head of Chemistry and Oxbridge coordinator. She currently works as a Head of Science and STEM director at an International School in Cambridge.
